Wedding Transportation

Wedding transportation involves more than simply arriving to the ceremony. There are many modes of transporation to weddings - horse drawn carriage, stretch limos and more.

There are various parts of the planning process which individuals need to take care of prior to exchanging their vows. The ceremony location has to be chosen, the reception hall has to be reserved and the perfect wedding gown has to be found. An additional important detail that needs to be ironed out prior to the wedding is how the bride, groom and wedding party are going to get around on the big day. There are a few different types of wedding transportation options available to choose from to get everyone from Point A to Point B.

Limousines

One highly sought after transportation mode for weddings is limousine rental. Limousines are wonderful options as there is a paid driver, plenty of room in the back for everyone to fit inside the vehicle and provides a classy look for the special occasion. These limousines come in various colors, styles and model years. The bride and groom can choose to ride alone in one limousine while providing a limousine for everyone else or they can share their limo with the bridal party. Renting a limousine is a great way to celebrate the day with everyone involved.

Classic Cars

Another wedding transportation option is the classic car rental. These types of automobile rentals are perfect for the bride and groom to ride around in on their wedding day. One can choose to rent a Rolls Royce or one of many other choices that fall within the classic car category. This is a great way to spend some time alone and have the bridal party ride together in a limousine. It gives the newly married couple a few minutes to reflect on the day and their future together.

Trolley

Another wedding day transportation choice is renting a trolley. Trolleys are a wonderful option for those couples who want something different from the limousine rentals but wish to be in the same vehicle as their bridal party. These trolleys can be utilized in winter or summer as most have covers and heat to keep the bridal party warm should it be cold outside on the big day. More and more couples are renting trolleys for their wedding and view them as a good limousine alternative.

Horse Drawn Carriage

For those individuals who want to reenact a Cinderella-type scene, renting a horse drawn carriage is a great way to do so. This romantic transportation option is probably not the best for traveling miles from the wedding ceremony location to the place where the reception is being held. However, if one is having both events on the same estate or at the next property over, this is a viable and unique option for the couple to consider.

There are many wonderful transportation options for the future bride and groom to choose from with regard to their wedding day. The individuals should consider whether they want to be alone or with the entire bridal party and what type of look they wish to go with when it comes to transportation vehicles.
